Program Notes
Nocturnes and Dances for clarinet ensemble is a five-movement work with enchanting melodies, dark sonorities, and lively rhythms. Originally commissioned by the University of Wisconsin-Superior MTNA Student Chapter for four-hand piano, this adaptation for clarinet ensemble was commissioned by the Plattsburgh Clarinet Choir to feature six different members of the clarinet family.

Movement I. was premiered by the Plattsburgh Clarinet Choir on August 6, 2023 in Plattsburgh, NY.
Movements II. - V. will premiere/be made available Summer of 2024.
